I now I asked this before but shouldn’t this be normal every console has been selling for a wile now so there has to be a point were sales would dip because most everybody has one
So sales won’t be that big

Unless your trying to tell me that the RRoD and the red light of death (don’t really now what they call the ps3 red-light error) are way to sell more consoles lol

well those issues are generally resolved under warranty. Still there have been recent updates aimed at disabling hacked consoles to an extent on the wii and 360 which could encourage some new sales. Overall I agree though that this makes sense given how long the consoles have been out.

First off, the percent of PS3 failures isn't that high at all, so I don't see how it warrants a place in your argument.

Second, I find it to be win how Mass Effect 2 sold so many copies, when it wasn't even out for a full week in January. If you look at the number of sales compared to the number of days the game has been available, nothing in January beats Mass Effect 2.

I believe the error in (mostly early) PS3s is called "YLoD" or Yellow Light of Death.
