After the news hit about the PC and PSN versions of the Aliens vs. Predator demo being borked, Rebellion assured us a fix was in the works for both. PC players got it quick-like, while PS3 owners have had to wait somewhat longer -- until now, to be precise.
It's confirmed a new version of the demo is now live on the PlayStation Network. If you'd like to know if you're running the old or new demo, head here.
Additionally, Sega says they'll be checking out the community over the next while to make sure everyone's fragging it up without issue.
Oh, and if you're wondering why they picked Deathmatch for the trial, here's the reason:
“We chose Deathmatch as the mode for the demo as it’s very familiar to all FPS gamers and minimizes restrictions on players while they are getting to grips with the controls of each of the three playable species” said Jason Kingsley, CEO and co-founder of Rebellion. “We have plenty of new modes in the game and players only have to wait a matter of days before they can play them when the game launches.”
Aliens vs. Predator hits February 16.
