Not too bad, lets just hope the figure out all those firmware issues before they jump into action. The mechanical bits could last a century but if the PCB chokes in 3 months what is the point?

I really wonder how they come up with this 2 million hours figure

@VeGiTAX2: Firmware issues go back to the 7200.11 desktop drives, it's all fixed now and has been for almost a year. I have a couple updated 7200.11 myself and they're fine.

@Zertz I know the recall was on the 7200.11 but they never claimed they solved the issue. The .7 .8 .10 .12 also have firmware failure rates fairly high as well. Only seeing those more prominent since prior to the .11 issues I built a lot of seagate systems. :/ such a pain matching and replacing those PCB boards with the exact site code matches.
