GameStop to hand out Pikachu-colored Pichus
Only for residents of North America
If you live within reach of a GameStop and you're a Pokemon fan, then you're in luck. From the January 30th to February 14th, if you take your Nintendo DS down to the store with a copy of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum then you can get yourself a free download of a Pikachu-colored Pichu for your game. Note this is in addition to the Shiny Pichu promotion.
Besides the unique color, there's really nothing too special about this Pokemon. However, if you transfer your Pichu to Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver then you'll have the ability to catch the special spiky-eared Pichu when you go to Ilex Forest.
The special Pichu is female with the three spikes on the top of her left ear. The spiky-eared Pichu also has a unique battle sprite appearance. Besides the unique appearance, the Pichu has identical stats to a regular Pichu; likewise, it cannot evolve or be traded. She featured in the Pokemon film Arceus and the Jewel of Life.
Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver are currently out in Japan and they're set to release March 14th in NA, and March 25th in the UK this year.

Pikachu Colored Pichu [GAMESTP]
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=207713
You can download Pikachu Colored Pichu Event (Gamestop) and use PokeSAV (a program that lets you edit your save file and pokemon anyway you want) to load the pichu into your game.
You can do this easily with a flashcart or ask someone with a flashcart to trade it you.
Or use the AR Code
Or try to move the save file of your genuine cartridge over with wifi...
