An additional warning to parents
From the start of this year onwards, Nintendo Wii games rated CERO C (15+) and up in Japan will be packaged in a black box as opposed to white.
Nintendo announced the change in box color before the release of Zangeki no Reginleiv, an extremely violent Wii game featuring 4-player co-op and limb-chopping with full blood effects. The game has received a CERO D rating (17+), the first Nintendo game of its kind in Japan.
The black box will be an additional warning to parents along with the colour rating on the side and front. Nintendo are currently the only company to do this, presumably so uninformed parents don't put "Mature" games into the hands of their children in the midst of the vast selection of "Everyone" titles.
This will only take effect in Japan as of yet; no word on whether we'll be seeing this come into effect in any other countries.

Yeah, only mini/party games. While Nintendo may not have been the publisher of the games, it's unfair to make it seem like that's all the Wii is about.
