Who says Microsoft doesn't support the PC? Well, we do. But it gets a little better today: the previously announced Games on Demand service for Xbox users is coming to PC soon, meaning there's another avenue from which to purchase PC games digitally.
Microsoft says you'll be able to install your purchased games as many times as you want, so all good there. A neat feature will be the ability to play your games wherever you are, but the downside is likely to be pricing, which has seen complaints from some regions.
Games on Demand launches via Games for Windows LIVE December 15 with five titles: Resident Evil 5, Red Faction: Guerilla, Battlestations: Pacific, and new exclusive (boo) LIVE-enabled versions of Osmos and World of Goo. Naturally titles offered will have to be registered under Games for Windows, so the likes of say, Dragon Age or Prince of Persia won't be showing up, at least not anytime soon.
