Electronic Arts has announced with Visceral Games that the Dante's Inferno demo is well on its way to consoles. While Xbox 360 owners usually get these things first, since LIVE updates on Tuesdays, EA is releasing this demo on PSN way ahead -- more than two weeks, in fact.
The demo will be available for download and play on PSN for PS3 next Thursday, December 10. Further down the calendar, it finally reappears on Thursday, December 24, for Xbox LIVE.
"The world of Alighieri’s Dante’s Inferno is such a rich, detailed, and often alarming universe, that all of us at Visceral Games put our hearts, and dare I say souls, into creating something truly intense and exciting," said executive producer Jonathan Knight. "We hope gamers enjoy this tease of hell, and come away from the experience lusting for more when the game comes out on February 9."
The "Gates of Hell" demo encompasses the entire opening level, so it's likely we'll be seeing King Minos, the snake-benemoth who judges souls to determine which Circle they belong in.
