Strategy game breaks ground tomorrow
One advantage PlayStation 3 gamers have held this generation is the benefit of user-created DLC. From the homeade levels of LittleBigPlanet to the machinima capabilities of Uncharted 2, there's been quite a bit to love. The Xbox 360 plays a bit of catch-up as of tomorrow with the launch of strategy game Tropico 3, which sees you run your very own Caribbean island.
Though no specifics are announced, it is said user-created content will be available as DLC for all players. The news is surprising given previously Microsoft has forced publishers to charge for game content that has been free on the PC, for example, so this should be great to hear for 360 owners, even those not interested in Tropico 3.
Maybe next gen, more games will be able to support user content ehÉ
