Blizzard planning second MMO

To be released within the next few years

If the annual $4 billion annual revenue ($1bn from World of Warcraft) wasn't enough, Activision Blizzard may just get their wish within the next few years: a second MMO by the joint companies is currently being planned, according to their presentation in New York today (the slide from which is pictured above).

On related topics, StarCraft II is likely for 2010, and Diablo III will be out sometime within the next few years (but not before 2011), as will the StarCraft expansions; support will continue for World of Warcraft.

Seeing how blizzard's Warcraft turned MMO it can only be StarCraft or Diablo unless they have a whole new MMO in the works not based on any blizzard game titles.

Activison on the other hand has some nice titles so maybe there looking to go MMO with the backing of blizzard through there BNet.

Considering their fans are willing to pay $10 for virtual pets, I'd say there's no hope left in this department.

Diablo 3 not before 2011? Why the *bleep* announce it in early 2009 then. I hope this is "Galaxy of Starcraft" or something of that nature.

It'll probably be something completely new. Blizzard isn't capable of only making 3 games, you know.
