World of Warcraft virtual Pandaren Monk pet "sold out"
How the hell do you run out of virtual goods to sell?
Checked the Blizzard store lately? Looks like that Pandaren Monk pet is out of stock. Now this comes as a shock to many people because the item is, you know, not real and therefore should not run out. On top of that, there had been no previous warning about the Monk pet being a limited item.
The Make-a-Wish Foundation can't be too happy either, since Blizzard had promised to hand over 50 percent of all proceeds from Pandaren Monk sales -- at least until December 31.
So it comes as a surprise to everyone that the developer has somehow run out of virtual pets to sell. You'd think they'd at least wait 'til the end of December to slap on the "Sold Out" tag, right? We have to say it again: they sold out a virtual item. Aren't virtual things theoretically limitless?
Luckily, Blizzard community folks aren't sitting still and have promised to look into this matter for their loyal customers. Hopefully this is just one big misunderstanding-... Wait, did that poster just say he wants to give the Monk as a Christmas present? You'd think a Christmas card would be more sensible.
For those who hide behind the "It's for charity!" shield, please note you can donate to charities of your choice directly at any time.
Oh well, at least the non-charity pet is still available.

Seems pretty clear they were only in it to make themselves look good. Not much worse than selfish charity.
People should just donate directly now.
Their hearts filled with angry misconception, the monks started "protecting" their unpurchased brethren from eager buyers. Blizzard, not knowing what to do about this strange dilemma, slapped a "Sold Out" sign on the item without thinking in the middle of the rush to stop the commotion.
the programer maybe toke 2 days to make and he gets payed 25 bucks an houer thats $400 dolars for 2 days then you sell pet at $10 bucks a pop so the first 800 pets they make there $400 back plus $400 for the charity
after that its all other pets are free income for blizzard
and a nice gift for make a wish foundation
and theres what 9million people in wow
