In Tekken 6 anyways, pwning 68 challengers in a row
Namco Bandai's launch of the PS3 and Xbox 360 ports for Tekken 6 is met with the crowning of a new Guiness World Record holder in gaming. Guinness World Records confirms that Eliot Smith-Walters ("Shadow Force") of the United Kingdom earned the title for longest winning streak inTekken 6, by successfully toppling 68 consecutive opponents in best-of three matches. Smith-Walters even prevailed against current UK champion and winner of Super Vs Battle 2009 Phil "Dinosaur" Mackenzie. According to Gaz Deaves, Editor of Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition:
"It was certainly a dramatic few hours. With Dinosaur’s epic win at the Super vs. Battle this year we were expecting him to walk away with the record, so when Eliot KO’d him in the third round we almost couldn’t believe what we were seeing. Overall the standard of play was very high, with Eliot clearly the strongest on the day."
Smith-Walters made his mark at the MCM Expo in Docklands Excel Arena just last weekend, scoring 25 perfect rounds while losing only 9 during his run. His character of choice was newcomer Lars Alexandersson, mixing it up with Miguel Caballero Rojo, Lee Chaolan, and Sergei Dragunov where advantageous. No love for Bob???
But I don't think he can beat the final boss of King of Fighters on the Hardest setting...
