Sins of a Solar Empire: Game of the Year Edition announced for Europe

Sins of a Solar Empire is regarded by many as one of the finest strategy games in recent years; launching in the summer of '08, this one did awfully well for an independent title, climbing its way up the PC charts and rankings lists.

Celebrating the success and offering a little something extra, the game's European publisher Kalypso Media are putting out a Game of the Year Edition for it in the region this Friday, October 30. Packing all updates and including an orchestral soundtrack and "huge" tech-tree poster, it'll be retailing for £24.99 (~$40 USD). North America has had this version awhile now, of course.

Oddly (particularly since the pricing matches up) the Entrenchment expansion is not included, as is typical of GOTY editions. Packing that in would be a big incentive for those that haven't picked up the game yet and don't want to have to bother with an extra download, but we digress.
