Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond (BB&B) is an upcoming title which sees our comical hero's return to take on another round of video game parodies, but this time in in a 2D sidescrolling format.

A new trailer for it in today features your usual batch of stereotypical heroes training themselves to become the champions they once were.

As is shown with the footage, in BB&B you can expect to find blocks you smash your head into to acquire items, grunts in the form of sailors with short shorts, Canadian Mounties in tanks, huge rolling snow balls you need to run away from, and giant penguins. There also appears to be a two-player cooperative mode present.

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond will be released this winter for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.
