Does the cross-realm chat mean that players will also finially be able to talk to players of the other faction as well? I don't know about everyone else but while I still played (haven't gotten on in a few months now) I was wondering if they would be making a way for Horde and Alliance to talk.

Why would this allow the Alliance and Horde to communicate with each other? This has nothing to do with Battle.Net. Blizzard simply doesn't want you to be able to talk to the opposite faction, for lore and to ensure that there are minimal friendships between the factions.

I was thinking that sence they want to use Battle.Net for cross-realm chat that say your friend was on the opposite faction you could use this feature to talk to them or something. It just seemed like it would be likely sence it seemed like they wanted to try to make the chat go through Battle.Net.
