Natsume and National Geographic present Afrika for PlayStation 3
Possibly one of the most beautiful PS3 titles to date, finally released
Natsume has released their first PlayStation 3 game, the beautiful photo-adventure title Afrika, inspired by the real-life continent and available today in North America for $49.99.
In Afrika, players become a freelance photographer tasked with documenting a new African wildlife conservatory. Take in all the sights and sounds of animals with stunning visuals found only on the PlayStation 3 (arguably). The animals and environments are rendered in photorealistic detail to resemble their real-life counterparts in appearance and behavior, thanks to National Geographic's full cooperation in the production process.
There are more than 70 animals to document and over 100 missions to complete as a virtual photographer.
"We are very excited about Afrika's release today. We know many PlayStaion 3 owners out there have been itching to get their hands on the game," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "It was a real pleasure to work with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios in bringing this title to North America."

The game was developed by A japanese company that is owned by sony. So natsume didn't have much so to it. Besides they just ported it from teh Japanese version.
I want to give this a game atry, but right now, no time. With batman and uncharted 2 next week. hopefully sometime in december.
I have no doubt that I'll be able to find the time to play this game in between sessions of Uncharted 2!
Kudos to Natsume for taking the chance and bringing this game to a North American audience! I sure hope that our friends in Europe will have a similar chance too!
