Atlus aka publisher of all things cool has signed on for the independent hit Zeno Clash and its Xbox LIVE Arcade (XBLA) debut.
Until its re-release, the first person brawler will have only been available through the PC's Steam platform (and soon, through retail, though this version requires Steam, too). So it's good news all around.
The company is really putting its money behind it, too. In a rare state of affairs, it seems the console version will be superior to its PC counterpart -- Atlus states the XBLA release will feature new modes, features and improvements based on fan feedback (reviewers' too, we're assuming), which should result in a more fleshed out package. Appropriately titled Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition, one of the features planned at this point is co-op play for the survival mode Tower Challenge.
No release date yet, but we'll keep you posted as always. Update: expect it March 2010.
