If was looking forward to this on PC I wouldn't really mind that much if it was 3 three weeks it would also let me see some PhysX effects for myself but at the same time I have to wonder if they couldn't release as planned and then patched on the PhysX when it was ready.

I don't mind the delay either, though if I'd pre-ordered, say, it would be somewhat bothersome. Not "Argh, stupid Eidos/NVIDIA!"-bothersome, but, y'know.

Good point about the patching.

I thought that implementing the PhysX was more of an attempt to create excitement over the game coming to the PC. After all, it's not like the PhysX being added a few weeks before the game releases would make a huge difference.

wouldn't patching PhysX onto Batman be a pretty big patch? ...at least i would assume so.

I know what PhysX is, but im not really clear on how it works..like the technology behind it.

If you go to Youtube, there's apparently some comparison videos up. Apparently, without PhysX: papaer doesn't really move, no/less cloth hanging around, a lot less smoke/mist/steam, less breakable environments, and maybe a few other things too.

Overall, it sounds like Mirror's Edge; if you have it, then you love how it looks, and miss it when it's gone. On the other hand, if you don't have it, you don't care to much about it.
