Can they maintain momentum where others could not sustain it?

If any MMO would give World of Warcraft a good run for there money & keep the top title it would be NCsoft, there free to play game Guild Wars is near 6 million players or so and that is half of what World of Warcraft has currently in paying fees & Guild Wars in "Free to Play" and looks much better when it comes to graphics.

I haven't read any lore on Aion yet but if they have a deep solid story line like they do with the Guild Wars series that can easly be the #2 top dog of MMO's.

I don't think this will phase WoW / Blizzard too much, but I wish NCSoft the best. Guild Wars will always be my favorite MMO, ever.

^ Hmmm...I downloaded the game and it ran fine. I'm in their beta and while I won't violate their NDA I will say it's a visual feast with smooth game play and an intuitive UI. Their storyline fits with the game and the cinematics placed within quest chains (even the newbie ones) help to immerse the gamer in the story line. Personally, I left EQ2 and WoW to play this game in beta.
As to whether it will kill WoW or not...got me, but it is a cool game that I intend to play rather than the two mentioned.
