Marvel vs. Capcom 2 arrives on PSN in August

Following an Xbox LIVE July release

We reported this month that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 had finally been given a release date, at least for Xbox LIVE. 

Xbox 360 gamers will be seeing MvC2 on the final Wednesday of July, July 29, another title in LIVE's "Summer of Arcade" event.  A PlayStation release had not been given at the time.

Today, Capcom makes that announcement.  PlayStation fans can now expect this highly anticipated re-release of classic 2D fighter crossover goodness on Thursday, August 13, for $15.00 USD.

    Meh, i've still got my original copy...so i can wait the extra couple o weeks and not pay for online access.

    Hmm.... I might get this, I remember playing a MvC game on a friends dreamcast and it was quite fun.

    I'm hoping this lowers the cost of the actual copies of the game, I really want one for my collection, but it's not worth the $70.
