Major Nelson shows off special Xbox 360 consoles

Okay, so we heard about some major Xbox LIVE changes during the Xbox 360 media briefing this year, starting in the fall.

Here's a quick refresh.  Xbox LIVE will be getting Facebook and Twitter features, and Last.fm has been confirmed for Gold subscribers.  Subscribers in Ireland and the UK will also be able to enjoy watch-to-click movie services via Sky.

Xbox LIVE front man Major Nelson revealed some special Xbox 360 consoles via Twitter, celebrating the upcoming updates.  Be advised, these are NOT for sale anywhere and were made solely for Microsoft's new partners.  Still pretty cool to just look at, anyway.

    Too bad they don't keep a collection of these for their own personal gallery. :/ they've made so many specialized units for partner companies. Too bad they don't crank out one for Neo.

    Ace, I would photoshop that in for you, but I figure I'll just let them play with it for a week and then it will happen on its own!

    And stewis, I WOULD use Photoshop, but my damn programmers left out the dang warp transformation again... oh well, maybe in Windows 7 SP1.

    But seriously though, its not like this would be particularly hard to do. It wouldn't be cheap but I think people can and have done better case mods. I would still like one of em though

    The Neoseeker logo almost looks like it is on a LCD screen... which would be great.

    In a few console generations, the entire case will probably be OLED or something, so you can create your own case designs on the computer and tada, upload it to the console. I'm not joking either...
