Expansion to Baldur Gate's sequel due later this month

Interplay has made known on their website yesterday through a rather convenient pop-up ad that Black Isle's expansion pack for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn has finally gone gold. Titled Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, this add-on wraps up the "Children of Bhaal" story arc introduced in Baldur's Gate. In addition you can look forward to higher experience caps for you characters (build them up to level 40), and more spells to match this. Then there's the new magical items and whatnot, and new dungeons to explore. Throne of Bhaal can be applied at any time during your BGII adventure, so players who've finished BGII and those who haven't can all look forward to new challenges. Expect Throne of Bhaal to hit store shelves in North America later this month.
