But it is cheaper than console version
Ghostbusters: The Video Game comes out this week, and many fans of the series are looking forward to picking up the game.
It looks like some PC gamers might be a bit disappointed however, as the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game is looking a bit more...complete. As it turns out, contrary to prior reports, the PC version of Ghostbusters will lack online multiplayer modes, have restrictive DRM, and will not be receiving future access to DLC.
However, it looks like Atari is trying to reconcile this with the pricing of the game. The PC version appears that it will be selling for only $30, which is half the price of the console version. So in the end, you could probably argue that it is actually the PC gamers that are getting a better end of the stick this time around.
If it wasnt for the DRM I'd go for this version, for sure..but I'm not really an online gamer and I'm a cheap bastard.
Anyway that's kinda cool of them to lower the price in light of the changes..course it'd be even cooler if they released a mod kit.
I can't really blame developers for skimping on PC versions..from what most of them are saying, they aren't selling great. Though it's partly their fault, and retailers.
I wouldn't buy this game if they paid me to do it. [Whoa...] The movies are good and all but seriously, this looks like it'll end up being horrible. I don't see a lot of good gameplay to be had with it.
