Korean developer and publisher Dragonfly has released a new video for Triple games' King of Fighters Online, in anticipation of its North American release.
The game boasts several key features, generic though they may sound. Seems this title will be relying heavily on the King of Fighters name.
Fun factor packed up from KOF developer, Triple games
Core RPG sprit with dynamic battle graphic and gorgeous scenes to enjoy
The latest KOF series where you can enjoy original special moves and combo action through online!
A King of Fighters that upholds the RPG "sprit" -- sounds intriguing. The new trailer today reveals some PvE gameplay footage and confirms PvP mode, with some head-to-head battle clips of Kyo Kusanagi, Terry Bogard, Joe Hagashi, Athena Asamiya (back to her teenage-self) and more.
KoFOnline will be using that tag system franchise fans are so familiar with, even in PvE. You'll be able to use the "tag slot" to change characters during battle while beating up generic enemies with friends, utilizing a variety of special attacks. In the movie, we see a few of these PvE environments in their early stages, including "Public Park," auditorium, Venezia, classrooms, and a "boss scene."
Overall a sketchy press release, as you'll notice many sources have simply copy-pasted it in its entirety rather than trying to decipher its content. Still, this could be worth following, as Dragonfly has promised more screenshots, videos and other details. King of Fighters Online is currently expected to launch in North America early next year.
Looks a lot like Power Stone.
