    They'd make less money.
In some cases it's a bad thing though (i.e. Borderlands), but mostly I like the anticipation and seeing the game evolve.

Oh, how wonderful. Once more I have been screwed over.

Why the hell did you do this, Relic?

Once more some idiot at a game company thought 'Ooh, let's make a game more "accessible"... by stopping PC gamers from playing it! YAAAY!'

Never mind the fact that they're actually making it LESS accessible.

Never mind all those players who, like myself, absolutely HATE XBOX controllers, and want to use a keyboard and mouse.

I was looking forward to this game. Now it's automatically crap because I'd have to buy several hundred pounds of console just to play it. No game is worth that.

What perspective is this taking place from? If its a first person action RPG it seems odd not to include the PC platform, it being the best first person platform and all.

I think it'll be be third person from what I can tell in certain parts of the trailer

It's third person, but then, so are many games. Perspective doesn't matter. Controls do. I prefer mine to be customisable, and preferably, to not feature twin analog sticks.

What are these publishers thinking? You solve a problem by avoiding it? NO! THAT DOESNT WORK! You need to stop cutting out PC gamers cause of Piracy. Find a SOLUTION or you'll lose fans and money. PC gaming is the highest grossing in the world. Piracy doesn't matter if you put out a good game.

So people, if you hear its not for PC that means it will suck(unless its a console exclusive)

And if you really want analog sticks, then you could use a gamepad. So there's no problem in the control mechanism as some developers say. I bought myself a gamepad so I can play properly on emulators and play poor console ports *cough*DMC4*cough without throwing my keyboard out the window after 2 minutes

Actually in the demo room (I was there) it was noted that the exclusivity is because they're building the game from the ground up around the PS3 and Xbox 360 and that the engine would need to be adapted yet again for the PC and given the control system and so on they had no plans to port it. For long time PC owners this is pretty much the worlds largest cop-out. XNA from the 360 would reduce strain on many aspects of the game, then they would need to work on the net code or adapt something from their existing titles since it's not like they're exactly newbies to it.

Piracy wasn't a topic of concern though it was more that they wanted to get in on the console kiddy cash and this was their opportunity to do it using a class that would tickle the wallets of GoW / Killzone / Resistance / Halo fans.

Sad too because it looks tempting as a game but not something I'd want to play on my 360 at this point. I spend most of my time on the PC really.

This looks amazing! I'm not too bothered about the exlcusivity since I have a 360 anyway, but even still what's the bother? It'll be much better on 360 and PS3.

Besides, after Fire Warrior flopped, do you really want another one like that?

Better on the 360 and PS3? Depends on your config, if you're talking about for control, if it's really that awful then it is easy enough to connect a regular controller to the system.

I thought the XBOX 360 basically used PC style hardware? Most XBOX games got PC ports, so I don't see why it would be a problem in particular for this game.

Stop crying, you have the Dawn of War Franchise. Keep playing that. And a Xbox is cheap nowadays. Hell you afford Cable and Internet dont you?

And a petition?? For *bleep*s Sake, leave THQ to its money hoarding. Are you guys blind? Look at the cover art for Space Marine. Millions of 8 to 13 year olds will not be saying "Oh cool the Adeptus Astartes" it will be more like "OMG DUDE LOOK THAT GUY IS WEARING ARMOUR AND HAS A SWORD AND A GUN AT THE SAME TIME DUDE I HAVE LIKE A HUGE BONER *8>* LETS BUY IT WITH MY MOM AND DADS SAVINGS!". You know they are making a kick ass game to inspire more kids to come and play more Warhammer games. Hence more money. THUS. More Dawn of War. And Finally.

Maybe a port. They are trying to expand and make more people be like at the end of Space Marine say, "oh dude that was fun is there any other games like this". BOOM. Right there you have a couple more DoW Buyers. Maybe even other warhammer title buyers.

I don't blame Relic. Personally I don't think a PC version of Space Marine would be much of a seller on the PC.
