Warriors are still useful even after they've gone and gotten themselves whacked
There is absolutely no shortage of free-to-play fantasy MMORPGs out there. Most of them look average. But every once in a while, one comes out that looks actually pretty fun. Warrior Epic, by a company called Possibility Space, is one of these games. Have you heard about it before? Lydia has been writing about the game before; but it hasn't received too much press so we thought we'd write about it again today. The game came out on May 19th.
So let's go straight to the pertinent facts here: first off, it is micro-transaction based. It has PVP, solo and multiplayer raid-type dungeons to take out. Every player automatically gets their own hall (home) where they can organize all their loot and what-not.
While this gamer hasn't played Warrior Epic himself, unless the screenshots and gameplay videos are way off, the game is actually a MMO-ARPG. A massive multiplayer online action role playing game, sort of in the long and influential vein of Diablo.
The game also has a interesting death system. A new video came out today, taking a look at it. Apparently when you die you can continue to play as a ghost, or you can manage some way to resurrect your character. Check it out:
And my personal favorite thing about this game are the interesting classes. Thankfully not another straight-up Y.A.M.F.R.I.E.S game ( Yet Another MMORPG Featuring Rangers, Imps, Elves or Sorcerers), the classes look interesting enough to get to know.
The game's website is right here. If you have 1.6GB of spare bandwidth kicking around, perhaps you'll want to give it a go.
