It seems that many people who bought the PS3 version of Radical Entertainment's Prototype are having a little problem: they can't install the game. It is difficult to gauge how wide spread this problem is, but appears to be fairly limited, judging from the quanity of forum postings.
There is some sort of bug in how the game gauges how much hard drive space is left. Some users have said that no matter how much space they have free on their HD, the game is saying that there is not enough space available to install the game.
According to a Activision support page, if you have this problem, one way to work around this is to change the amount of data on your HD by 700MB -- by either adding stuff, or deleting stuff.
Last week, we paid a visit to Radical Entertainment to check out Prototype ourselves; you can read about that here.
