Republic of Gamers line marches on to Phenom II's
Asus released a new higher-end motherboard today, aimed at the gamer and enthusiast crowd. Part of the Republic of Gamers line, the new Crosshair III Formula motherboard looks like it is ready to turn a few heads.
It is a socket AM3 790FX chipset, supporting the new Phenom II's. The motherboard comes with a SupremeFX X-Fi sound card, compatible with the ROG OC Station (a big fan a system status LCD display that fits into a drive bay and attaches to the motherboard that allows for on-the-fly overclocking and more), and the new MemOK! feature, which is a button right on the mobo that resets the memory to run at default speeds if there is a problem when POSTing.
