SCEA To Release New PS2 Hardware Bundle Package This Summer

Those shopping for a PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system this Summer will be able to pick one up with Gran Tursimo 3 bundled inside. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) announced yesterday that it plans to release a new PlayStation 2 hardware package on July 10, 2001. From this date, consumers will be able to purchase a PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system packaged with a copy of the highly anticipated racing title, Gran Turismo 3 A spec. This new hardware package will be available for a suggested retail price of $329 US, allowing new PS2 owners (who might also be interested in picking up Gran Turismo 3) to save themselves a respectable $21 US (hey, it could go towards a second controller). Gran Turismo 3 will of course be available separately from this bundle as well.
