Lionhead Studios and Microsoft have finally announced the release date of the next Fable II DLC, titled "See the Future."

"See the Future" will be arriving on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on May 12, bringing back some story elements from the original Fable.  With 250 additional Achievement points, players can further beef up their Gamerscore while saving Albion from imminent doom yet again.  Purchase cursed items from your old friend Murgo the Trader while battling new challenges, including ghost hobbes, necromancers, and cursed knights in the Coliseum.  Miss your dog?  He's back, and you can choose from different breeds -- Husky, Dalmation, Bloodhound.

Some free unique items will also be included in a separate update, introducing the soldier helmet, braided ponytail hairstyle, psycho Jester make-up (gee, wonder what this references), a new hero expression, and the back flip trick for your dog, as well as a Murdo the Trader collectible gold statue.

Oh, wait, but that's not all.  If you have an Xbox LIVE Silver account, Lionhead and Microsoft will give you a weekend of free Fable II multiplayer.  Between May 8 and May 11, the Multiplayer Unlocked Weekend will give all Fable II fans a chance to interact, whether you have a Silver or Gold LIVE account.
