Job posting reveals much
Microsoft's Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC) is just about out the door, with probably more excitement surrounding it than any of its previous operating systems, but already the corporation is looking for people to help make its successor.
A new job posting on its website reads as follows:
For the upcoming version of Windows, new critical features are being worked on including cluster support and support for one way replication. The core engine is also being reworked to provide dramatic performance improvements. We will also soon be starting major improvements for Windows 8 where we will be including innovative features which will revolutionize file access in branch offices.
Some think Microsoft's jumpstart is a bad move due to compatibility issues that would arise sooner and more often, among other things. What say you?
