Therefor art thou, hi-definition!
Wii owners still longing for high-definition console gaming are no longer completely out of luck, as YouTube user renebarahona demonstrates with a series of 720p/1080p videos running some Wii games on the Dolphin emulator. Yes, you can do this too, provided you have a powerful enough PC -- their system ran a E8400 @ 4GHz with 4GB Ballistix DDR2 RAM and XFX GTX 260 216 Black Edition video card -- and have legally copied your games.
Below are a few of the videos, the first running at 1080p, the other two at 720p (versus the Wii's maximum capable 480p). Be sure to click the 'HD' button after hitting play and full screen of course to appreciate this properly; also note the frame rates can appear somewhat low due to the method of recording used, so pay no mind to that.

at first i thought you was on about an actual Official HD Wii console, glad it was just this since my wii is not THAT old
The quality looks really good in my opinion
and you can then use a x360 controller. muuhhahahahaha.
Also, pretty sure the line is "wherefore art thou", not "therefore art thou". It's supposed to go "Where are you", not "I conclude you are there".
Juliet says 'wherefore art thou Romeo', asking why he must be Romeo, a member of the Montague family, which has a feud with the Capulets, Juliet's family. It prevented them from being together...for a while...
Anyway, it's nice to see people are trying to improve the graphics on the Wii.
