Microsoft expanding internal Halo team

We have not seen the last of Master Chief, director says

Just yesterday, development director Frank O'Conner teased gamers by claiming, "I doubt we have seen the last of Master Chief."

Falling in line with all the Halo-related news lately, here's another one.  Microsoft appears to be building an internal Halo development team, having just posted a new Lead Designer position on their Jobs page.

The site also states, "Microsoft Game Studios’ Halo team is looking for a strong Lead Designer to help develop a new experience in the Halo universe."

Enough with Halo. If you're not going to Finish your damn Fight, you shouldn't have made that the catch phrase of Halo 3.

If you knew you were going to milk the Halo franchise, you shoulda said so.

Finish the fight can be taken two ways. Finish the fight with the covenant, or finish the fight forever. Since the ending of Halo 3 leaves an opening for a entirely new story arch for the Chief, they may exploit that. I'd love to see him come back, but this time battling a new enemy. it could be interesting.

Actually I like the whole Spartan and Master Chief concept and I think he is arguably the most interesting part of the Halo universe (campaign wise), so having that part of the story progress with an all new antagonist could be very profitable for Microsoft. I'm rather tired of the Covenant so that would be a refreshing change.
