Why is it that all the stories like this it seems like the parents were either asleep (@see young boy who drove his parents car to school, crashed it)or something similar?

Kids. Geez. Take your eyes off them for one second, next thing you know they are jumping off the furniture stabbing each others' eyeballs and stuff.

That stupid boy should work as a Butcher when he becomes an adult.

And end up like Vinnie Jones in "The Midnight Meat Train" I think not!! But what the boy did was definitely unacceptable.

Why the hell was a knife within reach of a 5 year old anyway? It should've been kept in a cutlery draw out of the childs grasp. >_>

Common sense people, don't leave pointy objects around young children.

There was mention of a Power Rangers game with knife-throwing, but not much else is known at this point.
To the extent of my knowledge, no Power Rangers series has ever involved throwing knives; I can't be much more sure of the video game spin-offs, but I doubt either the developers or license-holders of the property would allow depictions of knives to appear in such a product because... well, they wouldn't want to get blamed for stuff like this.

So typical, the authorities always blame video games for society's depravity, Power Rangers are peaceful and only kill villains, give em a break!
