NBA Live 2003 User Reviews
I found this game to be very good. One of my favourite basketball games to this day and it is worth the money if your into basketball and high flying dunks. What I found about this game that was so entertaining was that the dunking was really good. All sorts of dunks and dribbling moves which made this game really stand out as a basketball game. The bad:
Too easy. The game was way too easy and the computer was no competition. Even at all-star difficulty, I found the computer to be way too easy. Something that made the game a bit boring after a while. Something EA needs to improve upon.
Another thing I found negative about this game, was that dynasty seemed a bit boring. Not much happened in it as in trading and etc. I thought dynasty is what made this game give me a 3 out of 5 for it. Another thing they need to heavily improve upon.
Just go out and buy the game. It's worth the money and I am sure you'll love playing it with all the new features and dunks.
Ability to change team
High score wins
Ability to change the times
Good Dunks , Three throws and three pointers
I like this game it is worth the 20 pound I paid. You can sign people like Larry Bird from the legends and there's also free agents. The commentary kinda sucked but it wasn't that bad. Also I don't like the music in it but that is because I don't like the genre.
Graphics are the best! It is a really good gameplay as well. The controls are easy to use. The ability to edit your team is also very good. And the ability to change how long you want the quarter to go on for. Also I didn't like the start menu but that doesn't matter in the slightest. NBA 2004 is out but this is still a bargain bu...
i really enjoy this game. The graphics are really good. The 1-on-1 is really fun. And playing as or against the legends like Dr.J , Magic, or MJ in his prime is alot of fun.The bad:
I don't really agree with alot of the ratings of teamsSummary:
I enjoy franchise mode. Beacuse at the end of the season you can draft, watch older players retire.I also really like the idea of player progress
no yao mingSummary:
This game is terrific its almost like ur in it the only bad thing is that there is no yao ming
the soundtrack features music from brandy, busta rhymes, freeway (roc-a-fella) and more. player moves seem more fluid. The bad:
playing defense is a joke. the computer will score no matter what you do, which makes defense useless. the cpu ai uses "catchup cheat" 100% of the time.Summary:
i've had times where i blocked the computer's shot and the cpu just throws it at the rim for like a 25 ft uncontested 3- point clutch shot. in additon to this i've had my players completely thrown to the ground so the computer can get the ball and score. also there are times when i completely crossed over a defender and they are just glued to you. also the fouls are handed to you as often as possible. trust me, don't waste your time. i'm trading this game in next week for sure. I am so dissapointed.
The game moves at a very fast pace, freestyle controls, the retro jerseys are very nice, players looks are matched to a tee, and the sountrack is real cooThe bad:
Shot blocking is terribly unrealistic, denfense is basically unheard ofSummary:
NBA Live is probably the most fun you can have with a basketball game. With the monster dunks, killa cross-overs, and fast gameplay, it will be sure to keep gamers playing. The down side however is the game's realism. Blocking has became a volley ball match, and there is really no strategy to the game, unless you count tryin 2 score more than your opponent (which i guess is the ultimate strategy, huh?) So if you are a fan if scorin 150+ points in 48 minutes, this is the game 4 u
