FIGHT!

Summary:

Mortal Kombat is one of those timeless fighting series such as Street Fighter that always comes crashing back to fight over the fighting crown. Armageddon was released in early 2006, it being one of the most recent Mortal Kombat games and it was my first. It takes place in a fantasy universe where opposing factions and clans are always fighting. With many features including Konquest mode, Kreate a fighter and the more unusual; Motor Kombat, Armageddon was most definitely a worthy purchase and it also offers the entire Mortal Kombat roster of roughly 64 characters all with alternate costumes...

I never thought I'd enjoy the Armageddon this much.

Summary:

The first Kombat game to grace the Wii, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Mortal Kombat is back, and as it's been doing since the arcade days it does not fail to impress. With the new control scheme that intuitively combines motion control with fast paced kombat, all the way to the massive amount of characters in this game, you can't go wrong. Along with the main game, there's enough distractions to keep you playing for a long while, but not long enough.

This game brings back all of the characters to participate in an 'Armageddon'. Now when I say all of the characters, I mean all of the characters...

MK is back and as good as ever.

The good:

The opening is great, very exciting to watch, every character to ever set foot in Mortal Kombat is present,Kreate-A-Karacter mode to create custom characters!!!,emulation of older MK 3 included,Motor Kombat that surpases Crash Tag Team Racing, lots of battle stages.

The bad:

The Krypt's interface worsened(bring back the coffins!),Konquest mode improved but still sucks in storyline, custom fatalities is fun but it was better the way it was, only 2 fighting syles per person(hand-to-hand and weapon),final boss sucks.

Summary:

Mortal Kombat Armageddon is the second greatest MK game up till now (with first being Deception).Everyone can see the improvements but still things get too confused sometimes.

Story:
Now you may ask what kind of 3-D fighting game has a story...well most don't but the MK has been following a storyline from the start. Basically, the MK fighters have grown too many and too powerful that the Elder Gods want them out of the picture. Their combat has begun to weaken the fabric of the realms and when the good and evil fighters clash in a huge battle in Edenia a huge pyramid appears out of the sand. ...

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

Summary:

--Plot--
Throughout the Mortal Kombat games, the warriors of the series have seen many dangers. Though now that there are so many warriors with special abilities, they are close to tearing the very fabric of the realms brinigng about the Armageddon. The Elder Gods demanded a safegaurd be put in place so that the Armageddon may be stopped.

--Graphics--
The graphics of MK Armageddon are fine, though they could be better for the Wii the visuals still look great, even for Konquest. The arenas are very well done, and the levels of Konquest are well designed too. The graphics and great level design ...

The most underrated and best Mortal Kombat yet

The good:

64 characters!
A better Konquest Mode
Motor Kombat
Cool bonuses for the Premium Edition
Kreate a Fighter Mode! (KAF)

The bad:

The Krypt is more lacking this time.
The new fatality system isn't that good.
Khameleon and a couple other minor characters aren't playable.

Summary:

The overall difficulty of this game is around Normal. All modes are easy, except Hard and Max

This game has been bashed and considered a disappointment by fans, which I completly disagree with. He's my review of the game to tell you why this game shouldn't be bashed as much as it is.

Okay so this is the seventh Mortal Kombat fighting game (Not counting updates, ports and re-makes, such as Mortal Kombat Trilogy). What makes this a great game for me is the huge character roster (Over 60!) with almost every Mortal Kombat character in history making a return. Also, the Konquest mode is actually ...
