Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistance

The good:

The games new camera has brought a great view to Metal gear solid 3, its much easier to look and use than the old camera. Many complained about this and sent it off to Konami; this was seen as a real big let down to the game.

The camouflage system was a great thing to put in the game, and is new to metal gear solid. The many different easter eggs. There are many different things to keep the game alive, things like kreaton frogs; a challenge that many try to do which makes the game less boring. The healing system was great, and the animals that was in it. It has a great online multiplayer which is great for the game.

The bad:

It can get boring after a while of playing and though the ladder is record breaker, it was a bit pointless. Little things in the game can be quite annoying, like the cqc where u accidentally slit there throat. It’s a non co op game which would have been good because it is always better to play games with your friends.

Summary:

I think that this game is a great game and is worth buying, this was the first mgs game id ever played and from that I played the others and now am a goon about mgs I love the game. The story line is great. The new improved camera has satisfied many gamers as loads complained about it to Konami. The little in game things like kreatons sets goals and challenges for the gamer to always try doing later on.

Though the plot is good, it’s very hard to understand, it keeps you wondering and questioning, even Konami don’t fully understand it. It could lead to many conclusions which you are left to...

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

The good:

  • An intriguing, move like storyline.
  • A good mix of fast and slower paced action to suit all gamers.
  • The immense detail into the whole game graphically.
  • A large variety of camouflage to use to stay hidden from the enemy.
  • The sound is very lifelike, from birds squawking in the distance to humans treading on ground.

    The bad:

  • The camera can become very fiddly at times.
  • Past knowledge of the game may be needed to understand it fully.
  • The storyline is more designed for adults rather than minors.
  • Newcomers to the game may find it hard to enjoy it.

    Summary:

With the hugely successful Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty on their record, Konami have a tough task in improving upon perfection. Many will be surprised to see that the latest metal Gear Solid is set before Sons of Liberty which leaves many lose ends not tied up. So, will the new Metal Gear cash in on Sons of Liberty’s success? So far, it looks to be a yes.

Hideo Kojima is well known for his spectacular plots and Snake Eater certainly lives up to that. You play as Naked Snake and you find yourself in the heart of a dense jungle in the Soviet Union. The game is split into two parts, the ...

    Summary:

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is an absolute must-have for any Action/Strategy game fan. A riveting storyline, amazing graphics and the amount of game-play and strategy making required for this game are what make this game one of the few games that have received 10 out of 10 in most gaming magazines.
Introduced to this new installment of Metal Gear Solid is the cure menu and also the camouflage option. Throughout the game, if you get shot, you have to dig the bullet out with your knife, if you fall from a high tree or hill you will break your leg, and if an enemy soldier stabs you or slash...

    Summary:

Alright guys let me start off by saying this is my first ever review, and second that I only review good games so you know what that means. Yes Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater is a terrific masterpiece, this it one of the best games I have played in the whole series. Let me go into the main story of MGS3:SE where you start your journey, you are a mercenary by the name of jack A.K.A. (Naked Snake) hired under the supervision of fox to infiltrate through the jungles of Russia to rescue professor sokolov from creating a doomsday device capable of leveling entire nations. But as you go to rescue...

Really good, but the story is so good, that I'm left wanting more background

    The good:

The story is really deep and interesting. The characters are all fantastic and fascinating. The voice acting is superb, and the graphics are the best you can hope for on PS2. The many movies in this game make it feel like a movie with a video game slipped in. (in a good way).
The weapons have a nice variety, but this really isn't a game about guns. Sneaking, and using your suroundings is the fun part of the game. Obtaining and trying out ever camoflouge and mask is also lots of fun, especially because your character continues to wear what you put on him just before a movie sequence, during the movie.

    The bad:

My favorite character (won't say who) turns out to be much less innocent, and young, ect. as I thought, but the ending is still incredible.
The Cobras, a team of bosses that have a great potential backstory, get very little explanaition, aside from the basics.

    Summary:

If you are capable of playing games with moderatly complex controls, you must try this game!

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

    The good:

Graphics, Story, Characters, Music, Voice-Overs, Overall Sound Quality

    The bad:

    Nothing really

    Summary:

Wow, I can't believe I haven't written a review for this yet. First of all, I'd just like to make it plain and clear that this game more than lived up to all the hype that continued to build as the release date came closer. First of all, the change in environment was brilliant by Hideo Kojima.

The jungle could not have been pulled off any better. The designers really put a hell of a lot of effort into it, and it really shows. From individual blades of grass to the sounds of birds chirping and other strange animals making noises off in the distance, the environment designs and sounds are pra...
