Metroid Fusion User Reviews
After being missing for a whole generation the galactic bounty hunter Samus Aran finally returned to our game systems, and her series has since taken two very different directions. The Gamecube saw the rise of her first person adventures, and while the Prime games weren't to everyone's tastes they were excellent titles. Long time fans may be please then to see the first GBA offering continue to move along the same direction the series started in. This is side scrolling adventuring Metroid style, and it does the series justice.
Due to storyline circumstances Samus starts off with very little ...
Great game and pretty lengthy with alot of suprises.
Can be linked up with Metroid Prime to unlock a bonus feature.
The graphics are ok but not great.Summary:
Metroid Fusion is a good game for the Gameboy Advance and requires alot of brains to play through because some of the strategy ideas are mind blowing. The game is a pretty long game with lots of secrets including a link up that you can do to Metroid Prime to unlock a new bonus feature. The graphics on the game arn't that great but do not affect the gameplay in any way. the sound matches the visuals and suits the mood of the game all the way through. The layout of the screen is completly different to Metroid Prime but still very nice to play through although i have to say i'd prefer it if it...
Like the title it brings back fair memories of the old school Super Metroid, and I think thats awsome. You even get to still use the wall jump! The bad:
Too short.Thats it thats my only gripe,Some say the suit sucks but i dont care about that, this game is the shit!Summary:
Metroid Fusion is my first(and only)gba game. With only playing this I can say this is one of the greatest games gba has to offer. The graphics were nicely done, especially the cutscenes. The gameplay is in some ways just like old school Super Metroid and in some ways it isnt.Like you still pick up diffrent suits and abilities but diffrently,You absorb them from something,I wont spoil it and tell you what or how though. Its all=so after defeating a boss is when you will be able to do this. Also whats diffrent is that you have to hold the R shoulder button to use missles, while in SM you could t...
Decent difficulty level
Decent, original story
Controlling samus is flawless
Around 4 hours max first play through
Metroid fusion- Prime may have had fans divided but everyone was looking forward to this- Developed by the people behind super metroid- and you can tell.
Nintendo exceled themselves here- however I can hear them now- 'Its plain old 2d graphics, whats so special???' a few things are special actually- 1st up are the backgrounds- there is always something interesting to look at.
2nd is the animation- Top notch- it has an incredibly decent running animation.
3rd and finally is samus herself- both sides of her fusion suit look different and gives a sence of realism.
~Great Weapons and Missions
~New and Old Creatures
~Graphics are ok
~New Suit(I liked the Old one)Summary:
This is the second Metoid game ive played and i thought it was very good. The story is very cool but you have to get a new suit. I liked the old suit a lot better.
There are many new creatures, but they kept some of the old ones as well. There are cool bosses to beat and you get moves after defeating each one, or you get power ups to moves you already have.
The graphics in it are awesome, and the sounds are very cool. There are many missions to go on, so you really wont be bored. There are many obstacles that you will encounter. Plus there's a new, very powerful creature that is tracking you...
Gameplay: 8/10
This was the first of the Metroid games that actually possessed a straight-forward plotline and objective. Unlike it's predecesors and well-known past styles, you were told what to do by a computer, and knew exactly what your purpose on the base was.
The action and strategy in combat is amazing and unmatched by all other Gameboy games. It's a side-scroller, with enviroment-manipulating gameplay and fast gunworks, as well as a large exploration basis. You're always on the search for upgrades essential to your progress.
Graphics: 10/10
Amazing ...
