Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition review
Sons of Liberty-- Worth Every Penny!

The good:

The graphics are great and very realistic, the environment is very realistic, the guards are smart (unlike some games oints to Halo), there are a variety of weapons, techniques, and difficulty levels, and the game is very challenging.

The bad:

The game can get a bit confusing at times, especially at the Plant, and it is a bit short for me.

I spent $30 on this game and I believe that it was worth every penny. There are a variety of weapons to choose from, such as tranquilizers, handguns, machine guns, and rocket launchers. My personal favriote is the M4, as you can take out a couple of enemies with one round of this gun. The environment is highly interactive, as guards can hear noises, wet feet leave fortprints, you get hurt falling off of heights, and you catch colds if you stay out in the cold too long. The radar really helps out, as it shows you enemy positions and their field of vision. However, it is very easy to hide if you are seen, or you could just punch out the guy before he can use his radio. The Codec is very useful, as it is used to recieve information, save, and get help when you are lost. This makes a brilliant sequel to Metal Gear Solid. I am dissapointed that you only control Snake for a brief amount of time and that he "dies" (I wont spoil anything) on the Tanker. Near-perfect games like this are hard to come by, so I gave it a 4.9.
