I'm currently majoring in Women's Studies with a minor in Alcoholism. After all, the great writers, poets, and artists had their vices, so I should be allowed a proclivity towards booze. I keep a sharp eye on the representation of women in games, movies, and other popular media. I'm also inclined to support those female characters that show some brains, some savvy, and some frickin' balls! (a phrase that tweaks my melon, but it works, damn it.) As such, I'm a huge fan of Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII and the Bride (aka Beatrix Kiddo) from Kill Bill.
I also dig Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX, who uses a sword with the same name (Save the Queen) as Quistis' whip. Kooky coincidences, eh?
