My name is Leigh, I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Coincidentally, I still live there. I've lived here all my life and I can't see myself living anywhere else.
I'm really into music, rock & metal more than anything. I play guitar, albeit not very well. I have been playing on and off for over 10 years, but I've just never gone to that next level, if you understand what I mean. I've always prefered drums, I actually started playing them before the guitar, which was at around age 7. I've always believed that I have a natural drumming ability, as I've never had a single drumming lesson. I guess it's in my genes. My dads an accomplished musician, playing lead guitar for a local band aswell as teaching music for over 20 years. And my (second) cousin is in AC/DC, which might have something to do with it. 8)
My second love (or third, if you can fit women in there) is video games. My first console was a SEGA Master System II, sometime back in the early 90's. My last and current console is an Xbox 360, which if I had a girlfriend, would take priority over her...har har.
I love sports, although I've never played professionally. The closest I've been is playing inter-school championships. I played in my schools football (Aussie Rules) team, which went two seasons without a single win. Later on I joined my schools baseball team, simply because every other sport was full. Living in Australia, baseball isn't exactly a popular sport (netball is more popular for crying out loud!), so it was an easy option. I don't know if I was any good at batting, although I wasn't a bad fielder. My favourite sporting club is North Melbourne of the AFL, whom I love dearly...but don't have a membership. I've been following North Melbourne for around 13 years, since I was old enough to choose a team for myself. Wayne Carey was my all-time favourite player, up until he landed himself in court for assault & drug use. Now, Brent "Boomer" Harvey is my favourite player. :)
I love cars, although I don't drive. Yes, I know I'm old enough to drive, but my lifestyle has made getting a license difficult. Ah well, there's still plenty of time to get around to that.
I love movies, although I can't really pick out a favourite. The topic of movies is an odd one to me. I watch them nearly every day, yet I cannot choose an all-time favourite, let alone a top 10.
Science wise, I've recently taken a liking to astronomy. Just the mystery of the universe intrigues me greatly. I'm also into geography (enviroment & navigational wise) and mythology (greek & norse more than anything).
Other uninteresting facts about me:

-I'm about 185cm tall.

-My favourite food is chicken burritos.
-My least favourite food is tuna pasta-bake.

-I hate the idea of aliens.
