Harvest Moon girl:
Where to begin? I've known Toni for about three years now; she was one of my first neofriends, and the only one I still regularly talk to from the good 'ol SSBM days. We've had so many hilarious, insightful, interesting, bizarre, outlandish, enthralling, stupendous conversations (there are so many more adjectives that I could list to describe the discussions we hold, but I'd probably run out of room). Toni is a truly wonderful person. She can be a real bitch to people she doesn't like, which is completely respectable, but if you manage to get on her good side you'll quickly discover that it's impossible to resist her naturally uplifting charm. She never fails to bring a smile to my face, but unfortunately we don't get as many opportunities to talk as we once did. Hopefully I'll get to meet her in person one day, which isn't such a farfetched thought considering she can hardly go a month without travelling somewhere. Peppertoni, if you're reading this, I really must thank you; you've always been so great to me, and I really don't think I would've stayed on Neoseeker if it wasn't for you.
The Artificer formerly known as BMXPro:
Another of my closest and longest lasting friends here on Neoseeker, I met Dave through a conversation Toni and Kristina. Right when I met him I got the feeling that he was something else. This guy is one of my heroes, honestly, he's always ready and willing to offer me sound advice and assistance whenever I need it (if he's not busy, of course), and I can confide in him and talk to him about pretty much anything. Dave isn't like most guys; he's knowledged yet meek, humorous yet intelligent, talented yet modest, and on top of that he has dashing good looks (I'm not trying to hit on you, Dave). Plus, he's an amazing writer, a computer whiz, and is someone with whom you can have a serious conversation with (well, usually). He's a great guy, and I don't know how to say this without sounding corny, but the world could use more Daves.
DG:
Ah Dennis, what a guy. To be completely candid, I don't remember when or how I met him, but I can guarantee it had something to do with Kristina. It's actually surprisingly difficult to describe Dennis, but if I had to sum him up in just one word, I'd have to say "different", and I mean that in a good way. Dennis never gets boring or mundane, and he always has some new and unusual story to share, although sometimes he reveals a little more than you really wanted to know... He's also one of the nicest guys I have ever met; I don't think I've ever once in my life witnessed him in a choleric state, or anything of the sort. I wish him the best of luck in life, he truly is a deserving guy.
sxc_katee:
I recently met Kate in the Canada forum, shortly after coming back from my leave of absence from Neoseeker. She's a fellow Auroran (what are the odds of that?) so that automatically makes her hellacious. It's an added bonus that she turned out to be such an interesting and intriguing girl. Despite the fact that we haven't known eachother for a very long time, we've already had some pretty exciting and boffo conversations. Best of all, I can discuss the local going-ons in Aurora with her and she'll actually know what the hell I'm talking about. I have a pretty good feeling that there are lots more entertaining and exuberant conversations in store for the future.
jespomo:
I first met Rob a year or so ago, in one of those overwhelming msn conversations that certain people seem to always enjoy randomly starting. We didn't talk much at all until a short while ago, when I got to know him a bit better. You can imagine my ebullience when I found out that not only is he a fellow Formula 1 fan, he's a Damon Hill fan as well; how nifty is that? Even before I became personally acquainted with Rob, I knew that he was one of those guys that everyone seemed to like, and I always wondered why. Well, I still don't know exactly why that is, but there's just something about him that makes him so easy to get along with. It's gotta be the name.
The_Killing_Hand:
Seeing as how Jake was a buddy of mine before he even joined Neoseeker, I already knew a lot about him. In fact, he sort of reminds me of Dennis. They're both rather outspoken, timid, and generally quiet people until you really get to know them - then they're not afraid to disclose anything to you... but I've yet to determine if that's a good or a bad thing. Best of all, he knows how to have a good time. If we both weren't so damn busy all of the time we'd hang out a lot more, but when we do hang out it's always a good time. And much like jespomo, he's easy to get along with. I've known him for about eight years and I don't think we've ever once gotten into a fight.
MrSpongeT9:
Matt's another one of my neofriends whom I met through a chaotic msn conversation, and I've been frieds with him for quite some time now. There was a period of time in which we rarely conversed with one another, but I'm glad to say that is no longer the case. Matt has always been a pretty laid-back kind of guy, and it's always enjoyable to talk with him. He can be a real riot at times, and serious at others, which means you never know what to expect with him. Surprisingly, after all this time of knowing him, I still don't even have a clue as to what his name means or where it came from; it's one of life's many mysteries. |
