| In case you didn't know me on my other account, I've actually been on this site since October 2003, not April 2005. |

| Biography: |
What can I say? It's late and I got nothing else to do so I guess I'll type up something here. I came to Neo sometime in the summer of 03 looking for info on the newest WWE game. On the first of October I registered and I like to think I made my mark in my first forum(WWE SD HCTP). Although now that I look back on it everybody probably thought I was nothing more than a newbie flooder. I think I got my first 1,000 posts in my first month on Neo.
For the record, I wasn't as big of a loser before I joined as I am now. Back then, just like 99% of the rest of the human population, I would have laughed at anybody writing a fan-fiction based on Star Wars. But here I am now, I've been writing it for...over a year, posting pieces of it at a time.
Anyway, after I expanded from the SmackDown forum I began to make more friends. Then some time in late 03, me and a few others were part of another, much much smaller forum called Snake's Crib, where I met more people. For a while I spent more time on there than on this site, but eventually it died and we all returned to Neo.
I've kind of forgotten what happened from then up until I found the barren wasteland that was the Star Wars Battlefront 2 forum some time in May 05. I contributed damn near everything in that forum, the Background, Gameplay, Features, Theme, Screens, Profile Pic, everything. And from then up until...well...pretty much still, that's my MAIN forum. Every once in a while I visit other forums, but not for long. And nowadays I don't even visit the Battlefront forum anymore. Pretty much the only thing I'm still on Neo for is to update my fan-fic in the General SW forum.
Oh yeah, I forgot to include my stint in wrestling RP's. That started out in early 04 in the WWE Game. I played as Scott Steiner for a while, then Kevin Nash up until the game ended. In WWE Game the highest thing I ever achieved was the U.S. title(second highest rated singles title). And I was also involved in a stable called NWO Blue.
In the middle of my time in WWE Game, I joined up with TNE(I think it was called TNE at the time, it has undergone a lot of name changes in its life). In TNE, I had my greatest success as Matt Hardy, where I won the World Title. I only held it for a month, because I gave it to Treecko3. He RP'd his ass off to win while I slacked off, but I still won. The following day I decided it wasn't really fair and volunteered to give him the title.
I was also the GM(which is hard work, btw, especially back then). At the height of my RPing career, I held the Tag Titles in TNE(I was using both title characters), the World Title in TNE, I was a GM in TNE, and I held the U.S. title in WWE Game...all at the same time. Eventually I lost all of those one by one, until finally I was completely burnt out on it. From there up until early 07, I would occasionally re-join and then quit after a few months. Finally, I decided that the authorities in TNE(or TNW or NWA or whatever) were probably getting tired of my sporadic RPing and called it quits, for good. I don't know exactly how long its been, but it was some time in April I think and I still have absolutely no desire to ever go back full time.
It sucks, I would like to do occasional appearances. Something that could allow me to not burn myself out on it again, but still participate in it for fun. The only problem is, not only do the authorities in RPs not like that, but I'm probably not considered popular enough to do something like that. I used to consider myself the Chris Benoit of wrestling RPs(because at one point in my career I managed to reach the top, but ever since then I became nothing more than a mid-card jobber) but since that whole Benoit murder-suicide I don't think I wanna use that title anymore.
There's only one more thing of interest to share, and that's my extreme dislike of Sten Mk II. Our "feud", if you wanna call it that, started when Sten was acting like a moron in the SW forum. One slightly subtle post with a hostile subtext led to a flame war where me and a couple others verbally kicked the shit out of him. Since then, we pretty much just ignore each other. But I've seen his posts around the General 360 and PS3 forums and it seems like I'm not the only one with these feelings.
Yeah, that pretty much sums up all of my exploits on Neo in the entire 4 years. Now that I think about it I just noticed my four-year mark just passed two weeks ago. It's pretty strange to look back and think of all the people I met through this site. I don't talk to any of them anymore. The only person on my friends list(besides the Mish) who I have talked to in the last few months is Iconic. And 99% of our conversations consist of random text outbursts and pr0n trading. It's weird, I wonder what has happened with all of the people I met who no longer even visit the site.
Sidenote, read my story in the General SW forum and give me feedback, good or bad. |
