I found Neoseeker when browsing for cheats for games, and I came across this site. I then started to browse the WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain forum for information on the game. I didn't join, I thought it'd cost money for some odd reason. I browsed the forum for a few months before joining.
I registered on September 9th, 2003, with the name wwe_fanatic since that was the name I went by on the old forum I went to, GameTalk. For the first few months, I mainly went to the SmackDown! HCTP forum, then I ventured out to the Lounges and various other game forums. I met most of my first NeoFriends in the SmackDown! HCTP forum and that was probably the best forum I've been at so far because it had such an awesome community of members.
Later on in the beginning of 2004, I was getting sick of my username; because I started to lose interest in WWE wrestling, and I just thought it was a crappy name. So, I then got a name change to the username Echo, which is a much better name.
As for accomplishments and contributions on the site, I'm apart of the Metal Gear NeoPortal staff along with Krunal, Viper and Vito Raliffe, which launched in June 2005 and I'm still apart of the staff. Also in the summer of 2005, the current moderator of the Metal Gear Solid 3 forum, The Stinger, asked me to be his co-moderator. This was such exciting news to me, because I always wanted to moderate that forum since I joined and it was my first moderator position. Yet again during the summer of 2005, I started to contribute quite a lot - I mainly contribute TV DVD profiles. I quickly rose up the list, and I'm currently #16 on the Total Contributions list and #10 on the NeoPoints list. My second NeoPortal involvement is for the 24 TV show, which was an original concept in the summer of 2005, but failed due to lack of work. The idea was revived by a few 24 Neoseeker fans and we worked on it for about a year until it was finally launched in January 2007, I work alongside DragonMaster_Dyne, Sonecor, and Xonora on the site. My second moderator position came in February 2006 when Nuggy decided to hand down the TV Shows forum to myself. I'm very grateful that he picked me as his replacement and it's been my favourite moderator position. My third moderator position and most recent is the Metal Gear Solid 4 forum. It was a honor to continue from MGS3 onto MGS4 as the moderator. To my surprise, I was nominated for Favourite Moderator and Favourite Avatar in Neoseeker's Official 2006 Neo Awards. The latest development is that I've joined the NeoCRS team.
I've met some really cool people on here and I'm glad I met them. Some I'm still in contact with, and others not. But nonetheless, I'll mention all the good people I've met through this site. Big Boss, Bri, Darkness_reborn, DragonMaster_Dyne, dugarry, Exonerate, Felony, George, George Sears, Grievous, Krunal, Slayerholic17, Sonecor, and Wolf.
My overall interest in the site has diminished quite a bit over the years, where I spend less and less time and post much less as well. Currently, I pretty much just post in the TV Shows forum, as well as Music and browse other forums. I guess this is all good because it will make it easier to leave when I choose to, since Neoseeker has been apart of my life for 4 years now.
