Thrash/Death/Black Metal. Other Metal subgenres, I don't mind, but the T/D/B Metal ones are most important to me.
What I consider shit:
1. Opeth, later Death and this shit Between The Buried And Me. Actually, almost all Progressive Death Metal. Death Metal was not supposed to have this shit. But the two mentioned bands are nothing more than highway robbery designed to empty your wallets. This is torture 'music' at best.
2. All Melodic Death Metal, which shouldn't even be considered Metal in the first place! Way to go Wikipedia!
3. Christian Metal. What's the point? So the Christians can act like they're hardcore? What a pathetic waste, but the above 2 are worse. But again, way to go Wikipedia, you *bleep*ed new metalheads up again!
4. Alternative/Nu/-Core bands. Stop conforming to trends and just be yourselves you dickheads. You'll be doing yourselves some favors. |
