Ever since my friend let me borrow her Saiyuki manga, I've been paying closer attention to Kazuya Minekura's art. It's very "defined", as my other friend would call it. So, like all my other favorite things, I try to add thier style into my own. (Since I like it so much. XD) Her style looks very mature and I like the way the colors are placed. I seriously don't think I can get exactly the same style she draws the characters unlike when I was in love with Yuu Watase's art (I'm too shoujo-anime based), but the way she draws faces are something I'm trying to get. I also like the way she makes the eyes small, not the bubbly "moe" kind. XD Whenever I get the time, I'll show you guys some new pictures I drew. I drew the picture of Hakkai from the cover of one of the mangas my friend lent to me, and then another one that was BASED off of a picture of him I saw. Doesn't look right, but... XD I think it looks pretty good. ^^ Heheh. Plus, I need to add more fanart to my gallery. XD Thanks for all the comments, everyone. ^^
Oh, and I had some freetime on my hands so I checked out that Ouran High School Host Club a lot of people were talking about. When it comes out in America this year, I'll be sure to watch it. =D It's interesting, based on part of the first episode... XD ...and the way my friends talk about it and how one of them said I reminded her of Kyouya. XD...... I wonder how? Maybe the glasses. Hahah. But she said because I'd be really serious when I'm doing something at school or some situation, but then I just go "bam" randomly during other events. XD I looked up his profile, and I read that he is clever and sly. *agrees* XD I think his personality mainly relates to my personality at school and around my friends and family (SOME of my family). =o

If I was in school right now, I'd be on the Holocaust Museum field trip. And on Saturday, I would be at the orchestra festival. I am first chair in orchestra, so when my friends heard the news about my abrupt trip to Georgia they said stuff like, "we're gonna fail," and "we're gonna die". They even said they hated me. Hahaha! But that was an event I was soooo looking forward to... It's the most important trip for orchestra out of the whole school year. There would be judges that would critique you and you'd have to play your best to get a high grade. And now I have to miss it. I won't even get to see the eighth graders perform there! =( Ha... My music teacher looked disappointed and worried. I wouldn't blame her, because a friend of mine (who is also one of the strongest players) is in China right now, and won't get back to school until Monday (same as me). So two first violins are gone. I just hope they get a good grade. -_- I'm not underestimating or anything, I'm just...not sure. XD
You guys like my Hakkai avatar? ^^ I made it on paint; I tried to finish it quickly, so yeah. XD I slowed down a bit when I began coloring and shading it. Haha. But since I can only save it as a JPEG or GIF, the colors got "distorted". >_< That's why when you look at it, there are dots everywhere. It's called "pixelated", right??
I'm still working on the banner. XD I'll post it on my art thread once I've finished. Oh, and I need to the my science review for the exam. ...Maybe I'll do it later... *procrastinating*

Ah, I need to scan. XD Not now; I'll go downstairs and scan it later, maybe in the afternoon. Oh, and today is my parents' wedding anniversary. 0.o
XD I'm succeeding my goal of visits for a month. How about increasing it to three? XD I don't many people care, though... I wasn't as active as I used to be... Maybe I need to play more video games. I don't play as much as I used to, but now I got a Wii and I love The Legend of Heroes. My mom has all three of them, but I decided to play the third because it appealed to me the most. (You'll see what I mean if you know what it's about. XD) I've started the second first, but I wasn't really attached to it like the third one. I'm not that far into it either. XD Like, an hour or 30 minutes in the game? I just left the town for the coming of age thing and I'm going to another one, I think. Haha, but that was a long time ago. And my friend let me play the first one, but I'll need to play it again in order to remember the beginning. XD
Oh yeah! My friends and I performed another gig. The first one was at a grocery store (don't laugh), and the one last week was at the Teachers of the Year Banquet. It was so beautiful; I wish I could've stayed there. 0.0 We're gonna be on TV too, but we messed up a lot. XD I was so nervous. Except on one song, which I never seem to get nervous about... It's called "An English Folk Song", but obviously that's not the real name. XD But yeah, if our group keeps on like this, my music teacher said that people would be asking us to perform. After all, we got the two performances through E-Mails to her. XD Teachers of the Year Banquet... I never would've thought we'd have the honor. XDXDXD
I bet there are typos, but I'm not gonna proofread right now. Sorry. ^^;;

Finally! I updated my art thread. XD Y'know, I looked in my fanart gallery a while back, and I noticed my whole art biography isn't there anymore!! XD Man, and I wrote a couple of paragraphs, too... Well, maybe I'll retype something later. Anyway, I think I'm improving in my art. I really like how my style is at the moment. ^^ I think I'll go draw more now. XD

I finished watching this anime called "Ouran High School Host Club" sometime around Spring Break or the week after it, and I loved it! I have a Kyouya plushie. XD I wanted to get a Tamaki one too, but he kinda looked funny as a plush. XD I think it was his super-yellow hair and huge super blue eyes. But maybe I'll get him one day, hahah. I like the show a lot though. It's great to have friends who watch(ed) the same things as you did, though! =D
Yeaaaaaaaaah. That guy I used to talk about a long while back...he has a girlfriend. ^^ I think that's cool... When I heard the news, I was kinda relieved. I was relieved because now I know exactly what he feels for me. I think. But also what I felt about him. I didn't love him; it was kind of like obsession or fanatic love. 0.o ... But that's over with so it's easy for me to talk to him now. Things just change roles just when I thought I was right about something. XD
My oppa liked the CD I burned for him! =D He even said thank you to me the next day before I even talked to him~ That is extremely rare. So, I'm very happy! ^^ I asked him if he new some of the songs, and when he said "yeah" and mentioned F.T. Island and some other one, I was excited. I'm glad he liked it. I wrote a longish note with that CD, too. If he didn't at least say something about it I would be disappointed. XD He's not really my oppa... "Oppa" means "older brother" (used by females) in Korean. One day a long time ago, I said to him in the hallway while walking, "Can you be my oppa?" He just smiled/laughed. Then he said, "yeah". XD One of my happy moments. I'll type more later... I like my oppa a lot, even though we don't talk much. =} I'm just sad he's gonna be in high school next year. TT.TT
