"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect."
- 1 Corinthians 15:10

First and foremost I'm a Christian and I'm unapologetically sold out to the God who makes all things possible. I'm also a normal kid who enjoys nothing more than spending time with my friends, who are probably the most awesome people in the world. I also enjoy solitude, although sometimes my definition of solitude includes yelling into the microphone on Halo 2 with two cool guys named Andrew and Manny. Neoseeker is not my life, and in fact I'm convinced it's one of the worst things I've ever done with my life.

I'm very athletic, but I've never enjoyed playing sports for the school teams because they take the fun out of everything, even though our football team is the best in the state. I am a flagrunner for the football team, however, so I'm on the field with the players, coaches, and cheerleaders every game, ready to lead the team onto the field or run down the sidelines every time we score carrying a huge green and white flag.

I like a lot of different video games, but I don't really have a whole lot of time to play anymore, since most of my spare time is spent at church or doing schoolwork. The only game I really still play is Halo 2, so add me as TriadicZero if you want to get your butt handed to you on Xbox Live.

As for the topic of music, wow, it's a big one. I'm a huge fan of too many bands and too many genres to try to squeeze them all into one paragraph. Now that I'm seventeen years old and finally old enough to drive, I'm starting to get a good look at the music scene as I go to more and more concerts with my friends. There's an enormous list of bands I like further down this page, and even though I don't update near enough, it probably grows in size in my head by the day, and at least by the week. Some of the stuff I listen to is mainstream, and some of it's extremely obscure, but most of it is somewhere in between. I'm really big on the Christian, indie-emo, and pop-punk scenes, but I'm by no means a whiny little emo kid, so don't even go there.

And here's the quote I live my life by:

"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me— the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."
- Acts 20:24

It means more to me than anything. Ever. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life career-wise, but I do know I'll continue to glorify my awesome God for as long as I live. I've preached in front of about fifty kids before and it was an amazing experience that I'd love to have again, but I don't feel that God has called me into ministry. He's blessed me with gifts of compassion, intelligence, integrity, administration, leadership, mercy, forgiveness, discernment, and an all-around love for all people. I made a 35 on my ACT and I feel that He wants me to do something special with my life, but I don't know what that is. Yet.

Biography:
I first stumbled across Neo in June of '03 while searching for information on Mega Man Battle Network 3 for Game Boy Advance, which was scheduled for a release later that month. I was only thirteen at the time, and a very uncreative thirteen year old at that, which lead to an equally uncreative username modelled after a character named Zero from the Mega Man X series. Plain old "Zero" was already taken, so I slapped a few zero's on the beginning and end. Complementing the username was an avatar representing the 32-bit Zero, which oddly enough, only I seemed to think was cool. :(

I posted in the Mega Man Battle Network 3: Blue forum for a while, then moderated by AsianStriderX, who admittedly had me scared to break any rules. I guess I liked the site, because I was telling anyone who would listen that I had made 25 posts in only six days.=D My grammar wasn't swell, but I did use punctuation, and that's more than I can say for quite a few people on their first visit to the site.

Unfortunately, Neoseeker didn't keep my interest for long. I left the site in July, and probably didn't come back until December or January of 2004. It was only then that I realized just how big the site was and how many cool features it had. I started posting in a wider variety of forums, namely Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts 2, although I was still participating in the Mega Man forums.

Towards the end of 2004 I applied to moderate the Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel forum, but unfortunately, I was running up against Mega Man forum whore protomanexe07. I almost retracted my application the second I found out he applied, but didn't, and was denied. I was disappointed, but kept posting in the forum.

Proto soon decided he needed a co-mod and turned to me. I was thrilled, accepted his offer, and was approved by Moderator Requests. Looking back at my posts then, I was an idiot and I'm somwhat surprised I was accepted. Anyway, I stayed there about three months, but activity had slowed down so I decided to step down. It was barely in need of one moderator, much less two. In those three months I had also moderated the Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4 forums in the mad thread-deletion spree known as the SiteWide Cleanup (and inadvertantly deleted Deathman48's first post while doing so).

I then joined the Half-Life portal staff as a news reporter a few months later [before Portals were cool (H)], and began working on the MegaMan NeoPortal after that.

I got promoted to the Mega Man Battle Network 6: CyBeast Gregar forum in the summer of 2006 and joined the Halo portal later that year.

And here I am today.=D Oh, I've also made a few friends along the way who've made my stay here quite enjoyable. I've made a ton more friends than those listed below, but I ended up losing contact with most of them over time, so the ones listed here are the ones I'm considering friends right now.

If I could, I would fix our wrists together
In such a fashion that God, Himself, couldn’t tear us apart.
But impossibility knows nothing of compromise,
And hope can only take us so far.

Tracing your outline in my sheets,
Painting your face on my pillow.
Faking going to sleep,
So I can fake waking up to you.

But my hands are tied by miles...

If I could, I would rest our cheeks together,
So I could hear every word that escapes your mouth.
And kisses could act as punctuation,
And I would pray and wait for periods and exclamation points.
Tracing your outline in my sheets,
Painting your face on my pillow.
Faking going to sleep,
So I can fake waking up to you.

My hands are tied...

Tracing your outline in my sheets,
Painting your face on my pillow.
Faking going to sleep,
So I can fake waking up to you.
But my hands are tied by miles...
