REVIEWS
Easily the most hyped game of the year; Doom 3 is a classic example of a perfectly competent game's inability to live up to impossible hype. Getting it out of the way, Doom 3 is indeed the best looking game to ever see a retail shelf. On a properly equipped PC, you'd be hard pressed to think you weren't playing a CG movie with no slowdown. Think a playable movie in the vein of Shrek, only with more blood and guts than Freddy vs. Jason.
Half-Life 2 will have a massive single-player storyline composed of 12 chapters. By taking the suspense, challenge and visceral charge of the original, and adding startling new realism and responsiveness, Half-Life 2 opens the door to a world where the player's presence affects everything around him, from the physical environment to the behaviors of both friends and enemies.
Tecmo's "Team Ninja" and Xbox will be teaming up to bring the beloved classics, Dead or Alive 1 and Dead or Alive 2 to the Xbox video game system in Dead or Alive Online. The new anthology will bring 3D fighting to the masses with full Xbox Live capabilities. It is time to kick some major $#%^* with gamers from around the world!

My name is Hugo from London. I school in Lambeth
college around somewhere in Clapham. I am doing my final years in the
college planning to proceed to the next level. I plan to be a Programmer or
an Engineer, or if possible study both. but my main focus is on Engineering. I have no

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness
When we polled you on Neoseeker.com as to whether or not you
were excited about the new Tomb Raider, 40 percent of you claimed that you
weren't. Considering that the franchise is one of the most successful in
gaming history--and certainly one of the biggest names on PlayStation--it's
further proof that even a good thing can overstay its welcome. Eidos and Core
have a lot to prove with Lara's first PS2 outing. They're so eager to please,
the game was pushed back from November to February so that it could be focus
tested, tweaked, nipped, tucked, and refined into a game worthy of the
original--a second playable character, a glaive-wielding magician named Kurtis
Trent, has even been added. As we go to press, we have seen very little in the
way of playable code. Core has been playing its cards very close to the vest
and clearly harbors concern about anything other than final design-work being
seen.
Soul Calibur 2
We here at Neoseeker.com have finally put paws on the sequel
to what is conceivably the greatest 3D fighting game ever, and that game is
Soul Calibur 2. At first glance it seems like the original, with slightly
fancier graphics and more developed backgrounds that now included walled-in
areas and bigger arenas (for less ring-outs). While the characters control
similarly to the previous game, extended playtime spent with Taki revealed an
added layer of depth that resulted in a flurry of low sweep moves (the kind
Che Chou likes). My success against Shane Bettenhausen, predictably, led me to
a 5-and-0 unbeaten streak where his clumsy Astaroth and his gullible
Siegfried/Nightmare had their lumbering oaf asses kicked by my swift, sexy,
supine attacks. Scheduled for PS2, GameCube and Xbox sometime this winter,
it'll be interesting to see if Soul Calibur 2 can reclaim the throne that
Virtua Fighter 4 now holds. some of these characters in tekken made their
debut to this original game. This game is out anyways on gamecube and maybe in the future, on other consoles.

Nintendo may have snagged the Resident Evil series for the next five years or so, but it's really no worry. Why? Because of Silent Hill 2. Thankfully, Konami has emerged from a long, dark slumber with the sequel to its first creepy, horror-filled adventure, and it's an experience that, excuse the Chaucerian, is sure to freak the crap out of you. |

It's no secret the storyline in The Angel of Darkness is, well, darker than that of the previous games. Instead of Lara running through crypts and dungeons, dodging wolves and climbing walls, she is now running for her life. Framed for the grisly murder of her mentor Werner Von Croy, our heroine starts the game on the lam. Once she escapes the unwanted attention of the French Police, things get worse. She finds herself at the focal point of a rather dark conspiracy. |

The man, the myth, the legend. Solid Snake. Solid Snake is a product of the
Les Enfants Terrible project, a cloning project in which duplicates of the
greatest soldier to ever live were created. Snake is Japanese-British, with an
IQ rating of over 160. After his birth, Snake was taken in and trained by the
United States Government to be a soldier from an early age. He is conversant
in 6 languages, well trained in high-altitude skydiving, scuba-diving and free
climbing. In the mid 90s, Snake was scouted and joined the special operations
squad, Fox-Hound, which was being led by Big Boss at the time. |

Raiden, the soldier sent in by "Fox-Hound" to thwart the Big Shell takeover.
His real name is Jack. When Jack was a child, his parents were killed at a
early age. He was then taken in by his godfather, (later to revealed to be
Solidus Snake. Unknowing to him, Solidus was actually the man who killed his
parents. Solidus then trained Raiden to be a child soldier and fight in the
"civil war" which was taking place deep in Africa. When he was barely ten
years old, Jack became the leader of the Small Boys unit. His outstanding
skill and kill record earned him several names such as "White Devil" and "Jack
the Ripper". After the war, Jack was taken in by NGO's and given a new life
in the States.

two different characters in tekken tag tournament who discover that life in a
prison cell is not a life at all. They broke out of prison and became
wrestlers and also felons. a police man by the name lee, searches for them all
the time in wrestling arenas. due to lee's desperate measures to get them, They
developed a mask that will keep them away from been noticed. |

legolas is an archer whose life is devoted to training with bows and arrows. he's
also an elve by nature, in a distant area faraway from sheer. he's put in this
game to fight for the salvation of men in the world. he makes his trip to
moordor to stop the stupid & evil saruma from getting the ring. best fighter
of all the characters. |

Dante is an eponymous character
known for his expertise in shooting and sword swinging. his duty here is to
fight the devil and demons around him. to protect his soul and that of his mum.
he is a demon by birth, his mom is a normal woman and not a demon. but his part
in this game is to stop mundus the sovereign devil demon, who looks almost like
a god. he only shows up at the end of the game after challenging other demons. |

Crash is a time traveller, also an Australasian marsupial with long
pointed nose. his mission is to save the world governed by monsters. monsters
will be sent through time to stop crash from retrieving crystals from other worlds. |

did i forget lara croft, that is impossible,
she is the best of all the characters i mensioned excluding solid snake, she
outstands any heroic character in any game. she is indeed eponymous. i just love
her ominous attitude towards her counterparts . her part in this game is to
search ancient tombs in search of artefacts or hidden treasures (more likee an
Indiana Jones movie). her search for this ornaments brings her closer to betrayal and been plotted against,
here she makes rivals, who therefore make traps to kill her. |

Almano is a russian
solider sent to fight the wicked soldiers during hitlers regiment, his
war with his fellow soldier friends was a dreadful one, but been the person who
is controlling him, you protect him and most of all fight for him. Remember that this
game has no room for failures.
