ShovelBox is a team composed of Bug Lamp, Vitehite, soraskingdom, and several of our offline friends. We create video games, movies, comics, poetry, flash animations, and anything else we see fit.

ShovelBox's roots can be traced back to May 2001, when Bug Lamp and soraskingdom founded the company, which went under the name "KM Crud". The KM Crud years were filled with primitive, toilet humor creations, and extremely amateurish drawing and production.

In August 2003, Bug Lamp met Vitehite and the 2 became friends fast. They started working on more projects, many of which were the groundwork for the much anticipated "The Captain Murphy Project" and "The Year 1337". The 2 formed the name "One Liner", but quickly switched to "Idiotic Creations Enterperises" after the original name didn't stick.

In late 2003, Justin and Nick joined the team. About this time, Bug Lamp and Vitehite began writing "The Captain Murphy Project", and continued to write it all throughout early 2004. This version of TCMP bears no resemblance to the version that is being created now. The original version had Justin instead of soraskingdom, along with Pulp Fiction-style interweaving stories and more video game references than you could count. Although this version is not the one that will be made into TCMP, we will incorporate elements from it into future ShovelBox plans, and we also plan to make an animated version of it.

After freshman year ended in June 2004, Justin left the team, due to a change of schools. He has not worked with ShovelBox since, sadly. In addition to this, the original TCMP script fell by the wayside. Although they lamented the loss of a teammate, the remaining 3 marched on, and in the summer of 2004, began working on the RPG "The Year 1337".

soraskingdom was reunited with Bug Lamp in August 2004, and he quickly became involved with all the projects. What's more, Bug Lamp & Vitehite began creating a new version of TCMP in October 2004. From October to April 2005, progress on all projects was going very well. The rest of 2005 was equally prosperous, as the team has become more well known (both on the internet and in real life), and has doubled in size. ShovelBox plans to film "The Captain Murphy Project" in January 2006.
