First of all, my apologies for not hanging out on Neo too much lately. About mid year last year my wireless router decided it doesn’t like Neomedia websites and has blocked my home access. While I can turn off the firewall and log in that way, I started to get attacks towards the end of last year that killed 2 computers. Therefore it’s been more of a hop on, hop off routine. I hate doing it, but will have to hold off on buying a new router for the time being.
Secondly, I’ve noticed that a lot of people who read my reviews don’t have a clue who I am. Sometimes they know who kik36 is……and sometimes they know who Heath Flor is. They rarely know that they are both one and the same. Therefore I’d like to formally introduce myself.
Hello. My name is Heath “kik36” Flor. I’m a video game reviewer for Neoseeker.com, as well as a forum member, and moderator when required. I review PS3 games, and the occasional PSP game that comes our way. I have been reviewing for Neo for a little over a year, and it has been a great year so far. Prior to that I wrote reviews for my own defunct blog, and a small website that is no longer.
My recent reviews for Neoseeker include Heavy Rain, God of War III, Bad Company 2, Star Ocean International, 3D Dot Heroes, Demon’s Souls, etc.
I am dedicated to Neoseeker, and helping the team create honest nonbiased reviews that our members can get behind. I feel that the best way to accomplish that is through feedback of our members. It really helps us all out a LOT when you leave comments on the reviews, previews, articles, etc.
Even if you don’t agree with our point of view, it’s always nice to continue the dialog to understand where our reader’s interests lie. I am not against anyone offering their own opinions or suggestions on a review and using them to strengthen my writing. I write for YOU, my Neoseeker brethren.
I appreciate all of you who drop by and let me know what you think of the reviews, and I know the other writers do too. And remember, we’re all very approachable. I love to hang out with Neo members online, and in games. So don’t ever hesitate to drop me a friend request on the PSN. My PSNid is kik36. I like to keep it simple. ;)
Right now I’m still pretty much hooked on Bad Company 2, and am tearing it up in between reviews. Speaking of which I just wrapped up Skate 3, so go check it out! Also keep an eye out for Mod Nation Racers’ review to drop next week!! A very exciting game indeed!
I’d also like to thank the Neoseeker team……specifically Sean, Lydia, Gabe and Adrian. They all put up with my ass and help make the system run smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a tough job coordinating all of this mess, and they do an excellent job of putting it all together.
Anywho, enough of the lovey dovey stuff, as it’s about time for the drunken monk to go home and put down a few pints. Cheers, and have a great weekend! Hope to see you all online!
I have been so wrapped up in building my LEGO project the past couple of weeks I haven't had much time for anything else. I've been building the LEGO Millennium Falcon which is slightly over 5000 pieces and weighs in ~22 lbs!!! YIKES! I've actually uploaded some construction pics to my photo gallery for your enjoyment. I will be wrapping up this build tonight and will take some final photos. It will be on display in my house (or most likely the garage LOL) for about 6 weeks before I tear it down and absorb the pieces into my growing collection.
I'm trying to catch up to the rest of the LEGO world. Luckily my wife has picked up on the LEGO craze as well and has allowed me to pick up even MOAR LEGO!!! WOOT!!! Adrian would be proud. ;)
And lastly, we FINALLY got the Chronicles of Riddick review up and running. You can check it out HEREPlease leave comments/suggestions/bitches, etc. I do read all feedback and appreciate anyone who takes the time to leave some. Thanks to Leo for getting it up and running, and RCG for her help as well.
Until next time, you will find me on the PSN hunting trophies. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
