introduction
So I should really learn how to finish a Neohome and stick to it.
Welcome! This Neohome is currently the equivalent of a construction site, but feel free to peruse at your own will. If you have any questions, or comments on how to improve this dump of a place, leave me a message! If not, enjoy your time looking about.

I'm really bad at these biography things because I never quite know what to write without feeling totally pretentious, but here goes nothing.
Biography » My name's Alexis. Lexi is the preferred nickname, but I'm not too picky. I'm a thirteen-year-old girl living in suburban New York City. I'm a practicing Roman Catholic, and I believe my activism in human equality (women's rights, LGBT rights, etc.) to be on the same level of importance as my religion. I also have three older siblings and really want a pet dog.
School Life » I am a year 8 student. I'm proud of the grades I get, but I don't really like to show them off or talk about them. I'm always pushing myself to do better, which often results in mental breakdowns or attacking myself for not living up to my full potential.
Appearance » I'm just a little bit over 4'10" and have a very, very petite frame. With tan skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes, I fit the typical Filipino look really well. My sense of style can be best categorized as hipster; my favorite clothing stores are Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, H&M, Delia's, and Love Culture.
Dreams » I'm one of those people who have really extravagant plans for their future. Like so, I'm an aspiring writer, and one of my biggest dreams in life (other than being ultimately happy) is to become an author. I'm open to what form of literature or journalism I'll pursue, but my main focus is being a novelist. Getting into an Ivy League college is my goal; right now my tentative and constantly changing plan is to double-major in English and Neuroscience. Also, my dream home during single life is an apartment someplace in Manhattan.
Interests » My favorite band is The Beatles, followed by Queen. The Harry Potter book series is basically my second Bible. South Park is the TV show I love most, but I also adore Psych, Adventure Time, My Little Pony, and Doctor Who. Even though movies like Dead Poets Society, Back to the Future, and those from Studio Ghibli hold a special place in my heart, Disney movies are my life and love. As far as videogames go, I'm guaranteed to like nearly everything in the Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and Mario series. Still, my interests know no boundaries, and it is very difficult to condense all of them into one tiny paragraph, so take all this with a grain of salt.
neo-friends
These lovely people mean so very much to me, and I love each of them with every fiber of my being. I'm so lucky to have such beautiful friends in my life to make the world shine a little brighter.
beccyorange
You are an absolute ball of sunshine. You're so sweet and optimistic and caring, and it honestly makes my heart swell when you tweet me nice things when I'm feeling down. I don't think you'll ever understand how much it means to me to have had you there as a confidant. I just hope you know that I'm always here for you, too. Keep in touch, Bex. Love you. X
Bitter Sweet
I really, really miss you. If I could put into words how much I miss you, I would. You were always there for me when I needed someone to confide in. I looked up to you as a role-model for what I wanted to become when I was older -- genuine, beautiful, kind, and so willing to be a shoulder to lean on -- and believe it or not you still continue to inspire me today. Love and miss you so much, mom. X
Cassandra
I only knew you for a short amount of time before you left, but still. You were funny and tons of fun to be around. Ever since I first spoke to you in the Harvest Moon DS Cute forum, I could tell you were comfortable being yourself, and I really admired that. Never stop being you, Mia. X
Cerulean
I was so foolish to let someone as important and precious as you drift away from me. You're an amazing, beautiful person with a great personality and talents that I know will take you far in life. I don't know how much I mean to you, but you are so very special to me, and always will be. You were my best friend on here through and through. Mellie, I miss you and our massive list of ridiculously hilarious inside jokes. Love always, your super awesomesauce ninja-hippie home-skillet neo-twin. X
Crystal Rain
Since you left, the Harvest Moon DS Cute forum hasn't been the same. Without you, the forum wouldn't have been shaped into something that would eventually become my place of refuge on the Internet. You were knowledgable and kind and fun to have conversations with. Wish you were still here, Alyak. X
Hmszelda
You are adorable and sweet. Your sincerity and friendliness toward everybody you talk to is awe-inspiring. You're a great person and deserve more credit for your constant kindness -- I'm a little gobsmacked sometimes by how you manage to compose yourself so well. Love you Jay. X
Kutiekinzie
I haven't met a whole lot of people on here who were significantly younger than me, so meeting you was a huge change. Arianna, you're like the little sister I never had. To be honest, you remind me so much of myself when I was your age. You are so intelligent and witty and cute and sweet and I just want to squeeze you sometimes. Never change, and don't forget me when you move on to become a famous actress. Love you Ari. X
snow
Oh, how I miss the glory days of the City Folk Gangs forum. Those clans were my favorite part of Neoseeker back then, and you played a huge role in making that so. You are one of the coolest moms I've ever met, and Sierra is lucky to have such a great figure to look up to and model after. I'll always miss Saturday nights with The Angel Venture Out Clan. Love you Lake. X
Thalia
You changed me from the moment I met you in the summer of 2011. I've admired your intelligence, experience, and honesty from the start, and even today you continue to influence me in the best ways possible. I feel like you're my third older sister, and sometimes I don't know what kind of a person I'd be without you. Tally, you have been an amazing friend to me. You're just such a wonderful person. Love you. X
contact me
If anyone needs to talk to me, there are plenty of different ways you can reach me:
Neoseeker: Xenophilia
Pretty straightforward. However, I'm known for forgetting to respond to PMs out of procrastination and/or laziness, so if I don't reply to your message, that's probably why. Just know that I'm not trying to ignore you!
Twitter: elderhobbits
The most reliable way of contacting me, as I check my Twitter everyday and get push notifications on my iPod. My account is set to private, but if I know you I'm more than likely to accept you as a follower. Since I'm bound to see and reply to all of my @ mentions, Twitter is actually my preferred way of staying in touch with others.
Tumblr: josephschpooky
My askbox is always open. Sometimes I go through bouts of inactivity on my blog and don't go on for weeks though, so this is a handy way of messaging me, but not necessarily the most ideal.
Email: ifederpa@aim.com
The second most reliable way of contacting me. I check my email everyday and am able to see if I have any new mail on my iPod.
ooVoo: istarberryx3
Admittedly, I'm uncomfortable with videochatting a person unless I know them personally and in real life, so if you're going to contact me via ooVoo, please use the text chat function rather than the video chat.
AOL Instant Messenger: ifederpa@aim.com
I don't really use AIM as I mostly use this address for emailing, but, if need be, I am willing to use it.
